In Aurora, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Illinois on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

This place is a joke. I walked in. It says Paulies Grill outside outside the menu says Eola tap. The TVs don’t work. The service is slow. You’re barely get ice in your drink. They come only tall and then the charges you two dollars for ice. Asked for a short rum and coke. The owner walks around with his jewelry all over him, yelling across the bar about what he needs. I felt like I was in a movie.

My wife and I used to go here every few months for drinks amd lunch. Our last visit was a horrible food experience. Apparently there's a new owner and it shows in the quality of what they serve. We ordered their Nachos with everything. Basically when it arrived it was a plate of cold chips. There was minimal tiny pieces of chicken which was cold. A tiny sprinkle of barely melted cheese. And barely any other toppings. The fountain drinks were broken, leaving them to serve soda in cans. This atmosphere looks like it's getting rundown without maintenance. The bar was totally empty for 1pm on a beautiful Saturday. Save your money and look elsewhere!

Pauline's pub is an absolutely fantastic place to hang out! The atmosphere is always lively and fun, thanks in large part to their amazing DJ who takes song requests. I've been a loyal customer of this pub for over 15 years, ever since it first opened, and I must say, it has truly stood the test of time, even during the challenging times brought on by the pandemic. You can always count on Pauline's pub to be bustling with people - it's never empty! Aside from the great ambiance, I also have to mention how much I adore the food and the wide variety of drinks they offer. Overall, it's an incredible spot that I highly recommend!

5+++🍺🍻 Alaya was our server, Awesome! The interior was a typical pub, with a very good selection of pub food. The burgers were delicious, the appetizer sampler platter was delicious. The beer was cold. The selection of Brew was quite extensive and the big screens had several different sporting events on. The bathrooms were spotless. You know what they say, clean bathrooms clean kitchens! The dining area had more room than you would expect. A nice patio for summer time dining and commiserating. If you are looking for alcohol, they had an amazing selection. Behind the bar was loaded with top shelf. An excellent destination for watching the games!

The server was extremely nice and the food was pretty good, but the wait time was long and our orders had some mistakes. It wasn't very busy when we went, so I assume they were short staffed.
